National Parks will Cite AWD Cars for Driving on 4WD-Only Trails

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. In today's world you have to watch out for the majority and not the exceptions. There are so many IG and TikTok dipshits out there thinking they can do anything and go anywhere because some jackass influencer posted a video where they did it that I applaud the NPS for doing this. Someone has to save the idiots from themselves. 🤷‍♂️
Exactly. The problem with most awd cars and crossover owners is that they have bought into the idea that these vehicles are capable and can go just about anywhere. However compared to most 4wd vehicles that have 4 low, better ground clearance with better tires this is simply not the case. This can be dangerous in the fact that their false sense of security can easily get them in trouble. I've seen my fair share of vehicles in tough situations here in Fla. Seen several in the mountains in N Ga that with one mistake during wet conditions could easily slide off the trails. Awd just makes it a more capable car on the streets and very light terrain. The Honda Ridgeline comes to mind here. Lol. I'm all for these rules.
