New Battery Suggestions

Im in the same boat. I've had a few sluggish starts and feel I'm in need of a replacement. A local battery mart offered up a Deka Intimidator. It's an AGM type similar to Odyssey. I had never heard of them and actually started a thread looking for info on them. I found some good reviews on them and may give them a shot. If I do I'll let you know how they work out.

I've used Deka AGMs in the truck, boat, and Jeep for years. It's a good battery that you can depend on. Worth every dollar in my opinion.

What Adam said. I was on my second stock mopar battery. First one lasted 32k. The second one had about 44k on it.

In addition to the ARB, I now have a winch and a few lights. Just seemed like a good investment.

Which one did you do? I Google "Odyssey deep cycle battery" and not a lot pops up. Just general Odyssey battery links.

Replaced stock with this around 30,000 just to avoid problems. It has been flawless so far.

Ok, cool. So the deep cycle isn't a series of batteries so much as it is a property of the Odyssey Extreme batteries. Is that accurate?

Odyssey 34r-pc1500t vs without the t on the end? I think it means tin plated brass posts.
