Sorry to hear about your windshield troubles. Your Jeep was getting more awesome looking by the day. I’m surprised that you didn’t try the gorilla glass upgrade before throwing in the towel. Comfort is a big issue as well for daily drivers. Odd that the seats would be different between the models, other than the coverings.

Probably not different between models on the JL but felt different than my old factory JK seats.
Maybe it's because I'm an even older fart than I used to be, who knows?
