Nubs mcgees xj build thread

I had a day off from work finally, so naturally I decided to work on the jeep.:yup:

Today I installed new valve cover gasket, intake/exhaust gasket, water pump, t-stat and gasket, belt, idler pulley, and tensioner. I figured with 208K miles on her she needed a few updates.

Oil pan gasket is next on the list, just as soon as I can get her to a lift. I'm getting to old to lay on the ground.

Recruiting some help for the second Saturday in July to install the lift kit and SYE. Any takers to come help?:thinking:
 
nice digging the xj build bud, i have a light bar that goes over the top its yours if you want it, just look at the pics of my xj in my profile to see what it looks like it. i also have a dana 70 hd laying around that would be idea for your build if you would like it i can sell it to ya cheap but you wont need that unless you are running bigger then 37s. pm me for info
