I've heard that the stock rocker guards on the 2012 Rubicon's are body mounted? Is this true? And if so, wouldn't you benefit more from having them be frame mounted?

they are mounted to the pinch seam and base of the body and, you'd be surprised at how strong they are.

Just finished installing a trail rack and Jerry can mounts on our LoD rear bumper tire carrier. RubiCAT may still be small but, at least it can now go the distance :)

Love the color!! Thanks for showing us your rear end Eddie, Guessing you cant use the rearview mirror too well???

actually, with just a stock tire for a spare, you can see out the back pretty good. if you want more visibility, you can raise the adjustable rack higher and you can see even more. :yup:

For those of you who've been following us on our Facebook or Google+ fan pages, you'll know that we've just purchased a brand new 2012 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in Dozer Yellow. While we are eager to get this new addition to the family built up, I thought it would be fun to post up some day 1 pics of it bone stock first. This way, we'll have a record of what it looked like before it becomes what it will be
