having a conversation with another Jeep friend, I noticed he didnt have the plastic engine cover installled on his penstar, we went back and forth aboout weather is just for show and it directs air flow under the hood for cooling.

My conspiracy brain tells me it has that insulation to protect the paint because it’s cheaper to use crappy paint and that stupid cover than it is to use quality paint.
