Skids that breath...

I am particularly interested in skids being used on engine swapped Jeeps. Wondering if there is anything out there that is already vented that I can use on my JKU once she returns from her swap.

Maybe it's just me and that I'm just a mall crawler but I really hate engine skids and really, all aftermarket skids. They're heavy, trap in heat and make it difficult to service. So long as you don't drive like an idiot, pick good lines and or use a spotter, I've found that they're rarely ever needed. Moby, my JKU running a 6.2L hasn't had an engine skid since getting it installed about 15 years ago.

I haven't decided if I will or won't install one yet, just scoping it out for now.
