I'm really liking the JL! Makes the JK seem dated which I didn't think was possible.. just means they did a great job on the JL.

Not really sure I'd like that. Hard to say without living with it but I like just being able to unplug and lift my doors off.. no tools needed.

I agree, I take the doors off a LOT, and the strap was easymode for that. I can already think of how to make my own strap if I were to get a JL one of these days, I think I'd just figure something out and remove the bar.

I’m sure there will be an easy cheap aftermarket “fix” if you want a strap. Straps are cheap.

Years 1-3 of the JL, the vendors will need to pay for all that RND to measure the length of the strap, so it will be like $179.99. Then it will be reasonable. lol

Looks like Jeep really made a point to increase airflow. Grill shot side by side and various new vents. Impressive the way they opened up the slots.

It’s also makes the JL look bigger to me... but its not. Total optical illusion... I really like the new grill & hood.
