Not really sure I'd like that. Hard to say without living with it but I like just being able to unplug and lift my doors off.. no tools needed.

I agree, I take the doors off a LOT, and the strap was easymode for that. I can already think of how to make my own strap if I were to get a JL one of these days, I think I'd just figure something out and remove the bar.

Caught the Bug
I wasn't sure where to post this pic so I chose this thread. I was watching a video on the new JL off roading and in the vid they have the JL and JK side by side. This photo shows how different they really are.

This is what the front axle looks like from behind on a JL Wrangler with a 2.0L Hurricane Turbo. Pay no mind to the electrical plug :)

Looks like Jeep really made a point to increase airflow. Grill shot side by side and various new vents. Impressive the way they opened up the slots.
