Well said, I have driven these for months at a time in foreign lands. They really are awesome vehicles, but nothing like a jeep, I don't really like the diesel models for around town driving, imagine a 3.8L that has even less ass behind it. Off road, either gas or diesel models are nice.

Having owned a K5 Blazer, I'd say it's likely due to the fact that the exhaust would seep in the cab with the factory routed exhaust. Gawd awful ugly design on this rig, though.
