Nothing new, just went on a solo trip today to Shoe Creek.

The second photo really shows how skinny the stock rubi tires are. Need to move up in size.

Nothing new mechanically however, after the rollover tread and the knowledge GCM2 provided I realized that I was severely lacking in the "recovery/safety" department. So I've added a few things like a fire extinguisher, tools, oils and fluids. Defiantly things I should have gotten a long time ago, but I was to busy trying to figure out how to afford mods that I don't need lol.

Other than that, I've been keeping my fingers crossed that my wife gets my some goodies for Christmas. :thumb:

Took a trip to Rausch Creek for one last outting with my buddy who is moving across country. Learned that 1) Snow wheeling is a whole different animal and 2) Stock Rubicon tires are not the best for said snow. Lol 1418604365441.jpg 1418604379360.jpg 1418604398512.jpg 1418604413494.jpg

Thanks for the invite Tyler! God I would have gone today with you

Lol My apologies Steve! There was supposed to be a decent group from the Submarine we all served on. But sadly the ones that were still assigned to that command got screwed and only he was able to make it.

I was able to swing by a spot I know of and see if she rubs at all with the new shoes. 1420329096744.jpg 1420329112510.jpg
From eyeballing it, I may rub at an extreme angle, but for the most part Im good.

Went to a local jeep meet and fun raiser today. Had a blast finally using my 35s! I also got to watch a lot of very build up rigs. 1423347797645.jpg 1423347815028.jpg 1423347832181.jpg 1423347856784.jpg 1423347875611.jpg

The icing on the cake was being able to ride up Juggernaught (toughest obstacle) in a Jk on PR60s and 40s. It was a great day!

Looking good. Makes me really want to put on the BB and spacers that are sitting in my garage and roll 35's. Too bad that I promised myself I would run Moab once stock to compare my stock jkur's performance to my modified tj's before I modified anything on her.

I hear you! Wheeling it stock was awesome and now with everything it is even better. Just be aware of steep break over angles. I've high centered myself a few times.
