The building of Anvil II -- The Deuce

Sexy sliders. I'm sure you noticed already how they don't move when you step on them compared to the OEM rails. They are one with the jeep.

Got the LoD sliders welded on. About 1.25 inches on the sides, & 0.75 inches on the bottom rear mounts. A little added security, & they still can be removed, with a little effort. You can jack the Jeep up with them!

Hope my wife doesn't fire me. The Craigslist tires fell through, so since Discount Tire was out of Cooper STT Pros, I went back with what I had on Alice. Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs in 315/70r17

Sweet. That's what we have on the wife's. I'm anxious to try them this winter. I've heard great things about them.

Taking a little more time, than usual. I'm allowing paint to dry, where there was rust on the lower spring perch. I'm installing some 1" Teraflex spacers in the rear, because I already had them. I bought the 2" EVO Plush Ride coils, without the rear spacers.

I do have one tire mounted, though.
