Thanks everyone! She's coming along little by little.

Got the fenders mostly finished tonight. Still need to install the plastic fender well molding and side marker lights.

Looking great! Starting to morph into an even cooler looking, and more importantly, functional jeep.

Question: will five 37" nittos fit in the back of a JKU?

Answer: Yes. Barely!

And you will break a sweat doing it! Especially if you are wearing a suit. :cheesy:

Another shot of the size difference.

Hmmm....maybe this was the rubbing sound I heard while turning on the way home?

Nothing a little sawzall can't fix.

In case anyone thought I was joking about the suit. :)

You'll definitely want to check clearance in the rear. I had to do some trimming to fully stuff my 37's to avoid losing my up travel with extending bump stops.

Yeah for sure. I don't plan on running the bigger bump stops. Should be good with the flat fenders, at least that is how the Enforcer setup is designed to work.

I know you have the DTD in the front, what are you running in the rear?

Suggestion: take that sawzaw on the trail with you. I can not tell you how many times mine has come out on the trail. When I trimmed my fronts I took out 3" back and 5" up to make enough room at full articulation.

Nothing to add. Just snapped a better picture for a forum member who wanted one.

Looks great! I see the rock sliders are still waiting to be put on. I have attached a photo from last years JKX main event, the sign at one trail head doesn't mention needing rock sliders so I'm sure you will be fine without them on this years run. In fact there was one participant (name withheld) with a brand new, just off the dealer floor JK, Hemi upgrade, 37"s, minimal lift, EVO 1/4 pounder with stinger......and that's about it for mods. He ran all the trails with no sliders......so I state again for the record, you should be just fine!

Cool! What I read is that you'd pay for any damage I sustain on JKX. That's awesome! Thank you very much Greg! Very much appreciated! I was going to go with some EVO sliders, but with your backing, I think I'll go
with a roof rack/tent combo instead. :)

Haha! I truly hope we are only going to have to pay for gas, food, hotels and truck stop souvenirs! I wish no damage on any of our rigs my friend. Hell, if they can land a rover on mars without incident, we can JKX without damage or breaks ;)

Met up with Sharkey for lunch and decided to check clearance with the 37s. Everything looks good, just a little more of the rear pinch seem and it will be perfect.
