The many uses of a winch! -post yours!

Haha. I like it!
With as much as you profess being an epic mall crawler, using your winch to recover your jeep off-road would probably be something you didn't expect to use it for! 😁

I didn't even bother to spool the line. ;)

Used mine to pull an old GM Corp 14 bolt one ton axle that was sitting under the porch for ten years so I could sell it for more than I paid for the winch to a guy from Craig's list......

No pictures. Sorry

I used to use the one on my TJ to move wood around the yard etc. Helped out at my brothers place with downed trees too.

Getting a large broken branch down from a tree. If you have some extra Amsteel line, you can make the ultimate (very light weight) shackle with it. See photos. In this application I'd assume you're fine with that design of soft shackle but if you're planning on using an Amsteel soft shackle for heavier loads I'd recommend one of these designs.

Edit: I have no affiliation with the site I linked, just thought it was a useful resource.

Instead of a link to another site, I think you should start a new thread and post all of them here. Really is a nice site with lots of soft shackle options.
