So Sunday the Family was going to go to Ikea to get some ideas for our new house before we left the Boy and Wife were getting coke bottles and trash out of the jeep. Well my wife had her hand on the pillar behind the passenger door and my son done cleaning his part slammed the door shut (you know where this is going). Needless to say he crushed her ring finger and pinky between the door and the pillar. I was on the other side of the jeep and all I hear is my wife scream then my son who is Autistic freak out and nether have the ability to open the door because of the shock. I got the door open her ring finger at the tip is bent backwards and her pinky is not looking right.

After four hours in the hospital x rays and meds she is open she broke two bones one in each finger they are the ones at the very tip distal phalanx.

So this week's lesson keep your hands off the pillar between the doors

Ouch! Well hopefully it all heals back to normal, that sucks.

I don't plan on running doors on my build so I guess I don't have to worry about this one

Man that looks painful! I had a friend who's mother shut his fingers in a car door when he was a kid and he lost the end of his middle finger
