Very interested to know as well. What is the clearance of this setup? Or does anyone know of a higher frame that would suffice?

After some further research and input from other users, if you use the flush-mount style crossbars you will NOT be able to use the power roof with a basket on. You can position the bars so that the roof will open safely, but there is not enough height to open with the basket installed.

I hate that, because the flush-mount bars look so much better to me. But if you wouldn't keep the basket mounted full-time either it may not be a big deal for you in the long run.

Yah, overall its only an annoyance to have to remove the panels. That roof rack seems to complete the Renny! So its going to be a must on my list.
