Vacuum pump relo issues?

installed the Evo Vacuum Pump Relocation bracket last night in prep for the 1/4# going on today. Bracket sits right on the sway bar and hose clip is suuuper close to the sway, but with the rubber isolators will definitely touch it.

anyone have issues with this or is it normal? I know Eddie’s write up years ago had sway bar spacers, but Evo doesn’t have any mention of those anymore

pics are with a washer under the isolators to raise the pump and spacers between the sway bar mount and bracket to push the sway bar down

Yeah, you kinda need to space the sway bar down to make it work. I'm sure you could do it with washers but I'm a little surprised that you didn't get any with the kit.

Suprisingly they didn’t even mention it in the install instructions, not that Evos instructions are ever great. Lol

Mine sits like yours. I want to say I just bent the bracket slight to give more clearance.

If I bend it any more It’ll ride on the bottom of the radiator...
Evo sent 6 1/4” spacer plates for the 1/4# and says to only use 4 for the JK (6 for JL/JT) so I might cut one in half and use that, otherwise I’m at a loss

As an option, you could mount the vac pump bracket to the back of the 1/4 pounder winch plate. I used an AEV bracket and drilled holes in the winch plate to mount the relo bracket. If I can remember, I'll take pics of mine tonight and post up.
