VERIZON SOS Outage Across the US

I should note that I tried using my wife’s phone to call Verizon for help but the call could not be completed. Got some error code.

Verizon's cell service has sucked recently. I used to have 5 bars at my home and office both. Since they switched to 5G I only have 2 bars at my office and 3 at home.

Musk needs to come out with an encrypted Starlink phone.
You ain't kidding!! The service is so bad now, I'm seriously considering moving over to ATT.

I think it’s because they’re leasing towers and bandwidth to other carriers. Ours had been getting consistently worse over time as well.

We considered switching too, but I’m not sure they are any better.
We switched in the middle of last year - Verizon over to ATT. Verizon was incrementally raising our rates without notice (even after being with them since smartphones were a thing) and to the point where ATT was nearly $20 cheaper a line for the same unlimited data.

Not so much concerned about the cost, just want consistent quality of service and support. How’s att for you?

Been good for the last year, no outages and no shortage of service unless it's obvious I'll be in an area without it... But I'm with you on that it's probably not much different from Verizon and other big name carriers. That's why we decided to go off cost.
