I did a search around here and not knowing what years or model truck to look for, most super duty axles 2005+ F250 with 3.73 gears selling for less than $800/axle.

But, in my experience, it's never as easy as it seems when looking for junkyard parts

Man so true. The best years are 05-11 if you want to stick with the SD/sterling combo. And yeah… locating them is by far the easiest and cheapest part .
