Yeah, agreed. I guess I'm still too excited on the deal to get too worked up about it though.

I called them today about the sales tax and spoke to a very polite lady who after speaking with her supervisor said they cannot combine the deal, rebate and tax promotion. I'm sure there are some people that pinch pennies on everything but I'm pretty happy even paying sales tax.

They advertised it as paying for your Taxes I'm not sure why they did not Honor it for you guys. I called the min I was trying to order online and it did not take the tax off and the guy on the phone just took it off not without hesitation and then just took the order on the phone so I did not have any problems. It has nothing to do with the Rebate they have on it, if it were Me and it is a good chunk of change you would save for other parts I would push the issue with them. After all they advertised it that way.

I wish I had more real world experience with my vr10s. Damm work keeps getting in the way. Only use is a few beach rescues so far. Did the trick.

On my recon bumper all is tucked away pretty good. Down he at the coast it’s holding up
Fairly well. It’s 7 months old now and doing fine. Ive been looking at a neoprene cover just to help in the long run.

Does anyone have any real world experience with this winch?

I have had the first generation 10,000lbs version. It failed me the first time I got stuck in a deep water crossing in Colorado. When you pressed on the controller to spool in the line it would just click and not do anything else. I was finally able to be winched out by a friend using a SuperWinch. Turns out that if this happens you need to pull on the line another 2 feet and something will reset the winch to get it back working again. I found this out when I was trying to wrap the synthetic line around the bumper since it would not spool in. Someone on the trail saw me doing this and told me they had the same experience and all I had to do was pull out about another 2 feet of line.
