What was done to your rig this week?

Built my door rack and hard top rack. Rugged Ridge doors are painted just waiting to have them buffed Monday. I hope to have my doors off and in the new rack Monday night. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1431138165.179049.jpg

Those do look bright. Are those the spots or floods on the a pillar? What switches did you use? Thanks for the pictures!

I was concerned about their strength as well, but got the idea from a coworker. She has been using this rack for about a year and has had no issues. I will let you know for sure next week.

Nattier237 I tried to respond to your quote, but some how screwed that up.

Lots.

Swapped the LED's on the footwell lights of my 2015 Willy's.

Also swapped the mirror map light LED's.

Installed ACE sliders.

Very interested in how you did the led swap, what led did use, how did you swap the map lights?

LED's I used are in the first picture.

The map light is very complicated. I actually half destroyed the board trying to get it done.

You need to melt plastic welds that hold the reflector on and then hot glue it back on.

I learned a bunch, just trial and error.

I'm willing to do this for a small fee. I've since ordered a soldering station and a bunch of tips to make this easier. I even ordered a spare mirror just in case I couldn't salvage mine.

Wow, ok thanks for the info.

No problem

The trace lifted off the board when I removed the LED on the mirror board. Didn't have that problem on the foot wells.

I removed the epoxy to expose trace and soldered the lightest gauge wire I had and the then the LED to that.
