Last minute run to Big Bear with Irish Jk. Only saw one other jeep on three trails which didn't suck. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1407210656.831781.jpg

I was on vacation for a family reunion and decided to take everyone out of a run. My mom just got a Rubicon so we wanted to take her somewhere fun but easy for her first round. Eddie recommended Genoa Peak and it sure didn't disappoint. See the pics below for all the fun we had. If you are ever in South Lake Tahoe, this run is a great 1.5-2hr trip depending on how many stops you take. 10551127_10152312045493233_3242416332321284209_n.jpg 10479542_10152312045638233_4722399695716410645_n.jpg 10348519_10152312045748233_5285690339190720320_n.jpg 10520894_10152312046418233_3626468631616450440_n.jpg 10472247_10152312045828233_8161082993377732019_n.jpg 10514685_10152312045968233_7083985695110979272_n.jpg 10532473_10152312046193233_5565965278445863854_n.jpg 10551035_10152312046033233_2898120701178743458_n.jpg 10565031_10152312045913233_7043875312509384612_n.jpg 10593000_10152312046308233_1382420197976463116_n.jpg 10559744_10152312046498233_4331262631619352621_n.jpg

Thanks Eddie, really a great trail and the perfect view of the lake from the top. Now how do I get a job up there so I can make it my daily job! LOL

We made it up to Genoa Peak also this last Saturday. The first spur road to the peak is really the only technical area, but it was a great place for my wife to learn how to wheel! Awesome views! The first pic is looking out toward Carson City.

Did you make it to the top?
Next time you are up that way pm me and we can meet up. We checked out the twin peaks trail too outside the Y. Would be fun as a group as a short day trip to do both those trails, especially for any of those new to wheeling. My wife learned a lot on the trail up to Genoa, and on the washboard on Twin peaks, but sucks to run alone.
