Buddy of mine Sean works for corporate Costco distribution for west coast and Hawaii. I get an inside scoop every now and then.
The 13 year Alexander Murray just went on sale for $49 bucks. The 20Yr (Kirkland Alexander Murray) is limited release that hit stores today and was $68. I tasted the the 20 yr at his house from 2019 and it was pretty good. I spend this much on single bottles of wine for one dinner at home…so figured time to diversify my whisky shelves.
Also set myself up for some surf and turf in the future. Fing Costco, can’t walk out of that place spending less than $200. Lol.

Been on a whiskey kick lately. Slowly starting to build a decent collection. A local bar has a great selection so I’ve been sampling purchase options. The bartender has great knowledge and backstories of many of the top shelf bourbons/whiskeys. Last night I went with the Taylor and the Thomas Handy rye. Both were lights out for different reasons.
