Well I finally broke down and picked up a bottle of Scotch whisky. I usually stick with Merican whiskeys. That being said. I am glad I sprung for The Macallan.

I've had the 10, 18 but never the Directors Edition? I'm intrigued...

The only other scotch I have and that I can compare it to is Johnny Walker Platinum. The Macallan is way smoother and more flavorful.

I will be picking up another bottle or maybe the 18....

Go for the 18 its way smoother. If you like the 12 you might want to try Glenlivet 15. I personnaly like that better than McCallan 12. Its smoother and not too expensive. Another good one is cadhu 12.

It's very smooth with a little coffee on the backend. I'm a fan of it. It's definitely different

Wow that's legit. The 18 is great and I've only heard about the 21. Very cool. Perhaps you'll crack it open when I visit in February.
