It's too bad they don't make something out of like Safari straps. That material seems to be mildew mold and UV resistant. You can probably try a type of leather or pleather with a UV coating on it

Like you guys my cover is now kinda purple.
I coated it with the protectant Warn sells as soon as I got it. Then I recoat it almost every time I wash the Jeep.

Has anybody tried an upholstery spray paint?

I am guessing I am screwed now with the thing dripping protectant.

I just put on one of the neoprene units for the same reason. Time will tell.

That stuff is great. Keeps the material decently soft too so it won't super harden the cover.

Cool. Not too worried bout the winch cover, but a refresh of the padding would be nice.

Edit: the Black isn’t cheap. How much coverage did you get out of a can?

A customized cover made of Sunbrella fabrics can be a good solution. Sunbrella is UV resistant and won't fade easily.

Look into Bartact they make a winch cover same material as there seat covers.
