How you going to run the exhuast? is there room for duals? or just single? one of my customers did a 5.3L chevy with auto swap, and it turned out pretty kick-ass. can't wait to yours complete.

-Removed the JK wiring harness
-Cut off stock engine mounts
-Cleaned up frame so new mounts can be burned in
-Began pulling apart LS to get it ready for the swap

:eek:Looking great so far, can't wait for more updates.:standing wave::thumb::yup:
Eddie and Cindy,

What was your deciding factor on new engine swap out vers. new jeep? Was it all the upgrade Mobby has? Sorry, I may have missed it in earlier post.
I know with my jeep, I will be keeping a long time. No ones going to buy it after my accident, so I am going to just keep it and upgrade as I go.

You know it's kinda lost on me why this isn't done at the factory (JK V-8) especially when they run as clean as smaller engines and the potential for better MPG is there.

New stock boring jeep rubicon, $40,000. Moby's new engine installed at a shop (they are doing it themselves so it's cheaper) $22,000 ish. New engine it is!

Normally this would be a time for Eddie and Cindy to be taking heart medication, but with Off Road Evolution and Eddie on the job of this killer build, maybe not so much. Still gotta some write checks though.:thumb:

Awesome progress! Not gonna be any interference issues with the motor mounts and the coilover towers?

Today we packed up a few parts from Moby and our LS and sent them out to MoTech for reprogramming.

We also found out from MoTech that the exhaust manifolds that came on our engine will not work because of clearance issues so we ordered up new manifolds:

Exhaust Manifold Right (2008 Trailblazer) - 12600527

Exhaust Manifold Left (2008 Trailblazer) - 12600526

Exhaust Manifold Right Shield (Trailblazer) - 12597916

Exhaust Manifold Left Shield (Trailblazer) - 12597917

Exhaust Manifold Gasket (2) - 12617944

Exhaust Manifold flange gasket (2) - 92202326
