Absolutely it can be painted. Self etching aluminum primer and paint it whatever color you want

No it's not. Its their new aliminum bumper. It accepts all winches. The 1/4 pounder can't hold the zeon without modification.

It can also be powedercoated. I personally like Annodized better. Gives it a richer look and last a little longer.

What would be cool is if you can get your hands on some aircraft primer and paint. That stuff is great. Holds up to 300+ mph going through the air.

Oh, btw. I posted previously about a mix up I had with Drew over at EVO in regards to my EVO D-mounts for the rear. The shipping got all mixed up. I just wanted to say that Drew was very helpful in making it "right" with me. He was kind enough to hook me up with some EVO gear as a token of peace. He is a stand up guy & is working with me in helping me acquire some more EVO gear. I'm interested in their front stubby bumper. As a result of Drew's efforts, I will continue to keep giving them my business.

All things being the same, it doesn't matter what you cover it with its going to scratch off. My suggestion a good quality rattle can paint job. Easy to touch up and inexpensive.

I Don't think Will (or me) was talking about scratching. But even if he was, It would be on the bottom side and you could still rattle can touch it up... It would only be on the bottom, and the rest of it being Ano, or Powder would last longer than any kind of rattle can

The only thing Paint has in its favor is price... So you could paint it many times for the price of powder or Ano

Of course, my point is simply that rattle can is easy, convenient, cheap, and repairable.

No doubt..... I've used it many times.

But my opinion.... and strictly just an opinion.

If I built this bumper myself.... or if it was a knockoff, I may do that, But for me, the money for an evo bumper is not easy to part with. If I splurged on one, I would pay more for the quality covering. I understand all people will not see it this way; but its how i see it.

You also do realize this is an alum bumper and scratches do not need to be repaired. I would honestly leave them as a "badge of honor"
