Yeah...I'm an ass. Yes I am in for GTD, and now SNG as well. Sorry for the confusion.

Damn, maybe that will shame others into dropping the driving excuse! Still looking for a way I can make it.

I am not trying to shame anyone into going. But the guys from this area drive down for the RC trips I don't see why I can't drive up to see them. Plus it's not like it's an every month trip so once in awhile won't hurt. It will also give me a chance to see other WAL members.

I'm totally with you on that line of thinking. The more Wayalifers the merrier, if you ask me!

Here are a few videos to wet your palettes while you all wait for May to arrive! They certainly don't showcase the farm or it's trail systems in their entirety, but they will at least give you guys a general idea of what you can expect if you have never been wheeling at Backwoods before. Enjoy!

This one just seems to be a low key ride around some of the forest trails on the farm.

Little hill climb. Second time's a charm for her!

This last one is of Mark, one of the trail guides from last year, as he eventually succeeds in climbing a hill that is actually a lot steeper than the video makes it look. By the way, Mark is the man. While spotting last year, he saved me from some serious body carnage when I attempted to wheel in between two trees on a sharp decline where a 4-door JK-U had absolutely no business being. My wallet sincerely thanks you, Mark!

Welcome to WAYALIFE, I appreciate you signing up and making your first post here to promote the new features at your park! Certainly, I hope that everyone has a great time there. Having said that, I am going to have to ask that you please refrain from making any more posts regarding your park unless you become an advertiser of this forum. Posts of this nature are something we do consider to be soliciting and that is not allowed. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Awesome, I'll add you to the maybe list! Let me know if that changes as we get closer!

I will. Work is the only thing that might but it looks pretty clear at this time. I need a little vaca....

I am excited. I was extremely excited until I saw the video. lol

The good thing about watching those videos I was able to see what they did wrong. Hopefully nothing like that will happen to any of us.

Haha, I wouldn't worry about flipping your rig. While it's certainly always a possibility anytime you're off the pavement, the trail guides and spotters do a great job of guiding you through the tough parts should you choose to tackle them.

Should be a lot of fun. :D

I hear that. Damn work always seems to get in the Wayalife! :)

In the video you posted you can see a few of the clips had spotters. That is one of the things I learned, it is obvious that the driver didn't listen to the spotter when they flipped. I am by no means an expert but to me it clearly looked as if the driver would have listened to the spotter the outcome may have been different.

I am still excited about this trip. I had a great time at RC in Feb, I know this trip will be just as fun.
