Just curious, is anyone bringing their kids? I'm not planning on bringing mine (3 & 4), but if there are going to be other kids, I might chat with the wife about bringing them along.

Very, very slim I have my wife and daughter (20 months). Not very likely though.

Mine will be there (6 and 8).

As far as camping I would bring as small a tent as you can because we are on trail not in a camp site. I would recommend a 15 degree bag if you prefer seeping in shorts or a 25 degree bag if in more clothes. I personally will be in my hammock :yup:

Good to know on the tent size. The only tent I've got is a 6 person and it is probably 8' square. Still not sure if I am going to make it up for camping, but do you think I'd run into issues finding a place to park such a big tent?

It's not that...it's when everyone brings one :D you should be fine.

I'll be bringing our son with me, he's almost 3. Working on getting someone from one of our families to watch our 5 month old daughter. If we can make that happen my wife will be coming with us.

Question: are people still planning on camping the night before? If so, what weather should I prepare for? I've camped a far amount, but only in summer. Suggestions I on a cold weather bag and where to get it are appreciated.

We will be camping with everyone up there the night before also

I have a small 2 person tent I'll be bribgibgbifnitsbjustbmybson and I, its just big enough for the 2 of us. If my wife comes too, I have a 6 person tent we would probably bring. Being 6'4" I have to sleep diagonally in the small one so it doesn't leave much room for anyone else haha.

With everyone camping it sounds like a great opportunity for a night run :thumb:

Who is up for a sequel :cheesy:

Well you know dang well I'm in for that. Wouldn't miss it. I don't think I can bend my tie rod like this anymore.

With many of us camping the night before, is there a plan for dinner Friday night? I don't know the area at all so if so would we just do a camping BBQ or a restaurant before hand

I'd say no restaurant anywhere around! It's camp food Friday night! For Ricky and Jill I'm sure that will include a 4 course meal with something like tri-tip! :D:thumbup:
