Looking forward, has anyone made a fridge slide? I can't effing believe an ARB fridge slide costs almost half as much as the fridge itself.

Sent you a text. I looked at making my own. Nice slides that can handle the weight are spendy as well. You'll save some money though.

Check out a local fire apparatus, all of our shelves slide out and I bet your local firefighters would be glad to show off their trucks!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Keep them coming. I've found some good slides online but they are all in Austrailia for the outback crowd. I have to believe I can make something for $100 that will work just fine.

Look up a company called rev-a-shelf. You can get any type of slides you can think of. They are also almost all 100% slow close so they will never slam :thumb:

Unfortunately I am slammed with work and football right now so this is going to be a really slow project. But, I got 3/4" birch today and can at least start making some rough cuts of the frame. For those who care, these are 8" tall rips. That will put my finished deck about 9" off of the floor.

Having that sub in the floor is pretty cool for a project like this. In my 2012, the sub box creates all sorts of issues.

Thanks.

But don't judge what you do based on me though. You actually know what you are doing with lumber. :) Plus, you have the real tools of the trade.
