That is for the official run days which are Saturday and Sunday, If you are looking for friday as well it would be an additional $30.

It's $30 a day for the driver and rig and then $5 for anyone extra. Also, that is not including camping.

ok great, thanks!

Which hotel is everyone staying in?

We are leaning towards leaving the dog at home, and getting the hotel. would be nice if we all/most in the same hotel so we could continue the party after the campfire with those who stayed to camp :thumb:

Dave, you'll have to check with Kyle but I believed he booked a hotel in North Longview so he could have his pup with him. This is about 30 mins away from the park! There are hotels available in Gilmer but they are not pet friendly.

As for myself and my wife, I haven't decided if we are staying in a Bunkhouse in the park yet, or camping. The bunkhouses are $50 per day and have AC/HEAT and camping space. I was thinking of getting one that way everyone could camp around the bunkhouse who is camping.

Looks like they sleep between 3-4 so we might be good. Let me discuss it with the wife and see where we are at. She's still recovering from surgery so it might be a little bit. ;) I see that one of them has a grill though so that would be perfect for an evening Wayalife Dinner

As far as bringing stuff, we will need a designated wood bringer(giggity) for firewood but we can figure that out when things get closer.

I was referring to bunk bedding; Ive (we've) never stayed in a bunk house before. so its all new. But, if we are sharing a bunk, IDK how much wood I'll be able to bring... Much less, how much you will want to use.. :cheesy:

I think it would just require us to bring sheets, pillows, linens and then whatever else you'd bring on any other trip. I'm not a bunkhouse expert either so I'm still learning :)

We are staying in Longview at the La Quinta, and bringing our two mutts. When I spoke to the people at the front desk over the phone she flat told me they were verrrrrrrrrrry lax on their pet policy. Just to "register" them at the front desk in case they were found roaming the halls without you, lol.

We've elected the first official wood supplier.

(Giggity)

Got me giggling like a little kid over here with all this wood bringing and its innuendos.:cheesy:

I will start trying to plan out, and maybe try to pre-cook some BBQ here at the house to bring along and warm it over the tdougherty's wood :brows:

We are all just mature adults here ;) and that's good that you've got a place for you and your pups to stay. Longview isn't too far away so you'll be able to hang out for a while hopefully :)
