Caught the Bug
Clever, Nice mod!! I've got a spare T-handle from a lawnmower laying around along with a bunch of paracord that would fit the bill for this mod perfectly.

Yeah, that'd be perfect and cheaper. Win win.

That's coolbeans Granite!! I already have that exact same glow in the dark rope too. I'm putting the pull-cord opener on my list of to-dos. Thanks!!! [emoji106]

Hey saw this today. Actually looks pretty sweet.

The TeraFlex Alta cargo rack

There is a video on Youtube.

"The basic system starts at $749.99; WELL under $750."
Ha, I laughed at that too. I actually really like the look of this system. Solves my shovel and Rotopax mounting problems too. That $750 price tag is killer though. I need it more than the $350 range for it to be a feasible option.

Left to right: Mount Princeton, Mount Yale, and Mount Harvard. Mount Columbia is also in there but overshadowed by Harvard. Scumbags naming these left out my alma mater, Dartmouth. Lame.

Plans for the next two phases of Scout are coming together. May pull the trigger on Phase III this week (I think I'm on the 3rd phase at this point?)

Phase III (now):
ATX 194 Ravine wheels
37x12.5r17 tires (Cooper SST Pros, Ridge Grapplers, or KO2s...thoughts?)
Programmer (suggestions?)
C Gussets
Gears (5.13s)
Front driveshaft

Phase IV (May):
Evo Fascia
AEV tire carrier (I'll run without a spare for the next 5 months or so. It can sit in my garage until I get the carrier)
ProGrips

Thoughts? Anything I'm missing?

Congrats on finishing phase II ! Cooper STT pros are 13.50 I believe, so if you want to stick with 12.50's I would suggest Nitto Trail Grapplers...quiet on the road and do great offroad. If you're doing 37's next, you'll definitely want to upgrade your front and rear axle shafts at the same time as your C gussets. 35-spline those bad boys!

They do come in 12.5"

Wasn't planning on changing axle shafts. Saving for some Dynatrac axles instead. That's multiple years away though. Thoughts?

Good stuff on the coopers, i didn't know that. Because it seems like you definitely wheel often, and 37's are in your next phase, I would be real careful wheeling on stock axle shafts. Mall crawling you're fine, but easy to bend a flange on stock shafts and 37's offroad. If new bolt-in axles are multiple years out, I would seriously contemplate getting the chromoly shafts front and rear in the meantime just to hold you over.
