My Dozer

Finally got a filter for the wife's jeep. Had to order one from the dealership. Sucks living in a small town. So hopefully today i can put on the evo oil pan and transmission skid while doing the oil change. Also wondered what was different about these filters compared to the dozer, apparently there is some nipple thing on top. I hope this is the right part number.

Yes that is the correct filter.

Also Brown Santa showed up, but not with jeep parts:( , been replacing Windows on the house. Not really jeep related, but keeps the wife happy and allows me to buy jeep parts!
Here is before and after.

Nobody laugh, but a long time ago we had a Chevy venture. It had on board air. When we traded it in I kept the air hose. It's pretty nice, screws on to the valve stem and even has a gauge on it. Thinking I can cut off the end and put a chuck to fit the power plant. It would make airing up easier. I'll post pictures when I get it done, but here is the hose

Less maintenance. No more painting.

Yeah, thinking it might be easier and its really a nice hose. Just need to find a chuck with barbs to put the end. All the ones I have are threaded.

My daughter is wanting a vehicle soon, the wife came across this jeep. Not a bad price, comes with hard and soft top. Anybody know how much these normally go for? I'm not sure the miles or anything.

Checked the number and its a 804 area code, not even going to bother trying.
But I did buy a coupler for that hose today, I'll hopefully have it done tomorrow.

Installed oil pan and transmission skids while doing the oil change on the white jeep. Just need to order the crossmember skid for it. Glad I did the oil pan, some bolts on the pan were loose. Came like that from the factory. And I mean didn't need a wrench loose

Got this in today, somewhat jeep related, when we go camping, it's tight to pack gear for all 5 of us plus the dog. Water takes up a lot of space and I got this katadyn water filter. Pretty neat, just fill it up with creek water and hang it up. Has a hose with a shut off valve. I use the hiker pro when I go backpacking, but I'm not pumping water for 5 people.

Also rigged up that hose with a coupler. To my surprise, it worked great.

Just noticed the price drop on the evo tire carrier. Hopefully it'll be the next purchase before price goes back up.

Went on a camping trip near Lander in the wind rivers. Had a great time with my family. Here are some pictures, some are the Oregon trail to get there, split rock, a few lakes and some nice trails to drive.

Only thing that happened on this trip. My fault for taking the jeep through the hard stuff on this one trail. Thankfully I had evo skids, but I slid off a rock and hit my crossover skid hard. I got it bent back. I really need to get tires and a lift. Evo sliders and skids really are worth the money.
