Lol. Well if it makes you feel any better. This is an enlightening discussion... and if the lift kit I get doesn't have bump stops, I'll probably get hockey pucks and some stout hardware. :yup:

I'll post pictures of the whole kit when I get home. These were about the same price as any other front bump stops. And really, I think pucks work fine. But marking them up that much for drilling a hole is crazy. If I would have known they were just pucks I would have made my own. The only other thing I liked from them is that rear seat plate do the middle doesn't sink in. But I'll make my own now.

this is the thing that gets me, i've seen people suggest hockey pucks before. then people respond that they don't want a cheap fix or jerry rigged shit on their jeep. then the next breath they claim MC is top of the line shit.
i'm willing to give any company a look, but i've seen nothing and i mean nothing special about MC. I don't care for their fanboys either.
i think my rant is winding down finally.

I'm rocking the hockey pucks too (but they came with my kit). And just like you, I literally laughed out loud when I took them out of the box. Now, I would ask if you're upset with them because you were expecting something more or just because you overpaid for modified hockey pucks?

Now, for a little entertainment value, I've included a link to an alternate MC "bump stop" that's sure to make you glad you only paid what you did! ;)

This is the kit. Just need a few pucks, a top washer and a flat head bolt to replicate it. Save your money.

I think I mentioned this already, but I ordered the evo drag link flip. I thought about ordering a crown rhd drag link and a synergy front bracket. Even the thought of ordering the whole synergy flip kit entered my mind. But just decided to go evo. I really don't have wear on my drag link on the pitman arm and really see no need to replace everything.
I bought a 13/16" drill bit a long time ago, but everybody switched to a 7/8" drill bit. So another 20 bucks I gotta spend.

trying to figure out what brake lines to get. i used extensions on my first jeep. kind of want to get stainless ones on this one. now northridge sells crown performance, and i think it's a different company than crown.
here are crown stainless, but it says only for up to a 2011? i thought the brakes were the same from 2011 and up with that bracket.

here is crown performance, same as quadratec sells with the clear colored plastic.

now when people recommend "crown", is it the forum vendor "crown" or "crown performance"? these are two different companies correct?

One down. I forgot how heavy 37" tires are. Sucks when you get the ring bolted on and forget to put the valve stem.

Good thing there's only 24 bolts holding down the ring that you need to take off and put back on lol :cheesy:

They do look sexy tho

I got it on the second try... I ordered a new 3/8" torque wrench. Should be here tomorrow. I'll finish tightening the bolts and add air.
