Hello All members
I originally joined this site as a proud Jeep owner, Love 4 wheeling
I got a lot of info, tech info from this site, it is good for that
There are many really good technicians who give great direction on this site
Thank You, that is why I originally joined!!
I most times felt, based on the big technical knowlege here, I could not contribute and did not contribute!!! Just watched and learned!!!
However many times I saw forum issues get all out of whack!!! People, mostly frequent people here, saying wierd stuff!!
I quickly saw this site is a clique I cannot fit!!
Eddie and Cindy, Thank You SO much for Your videos!!!!! They are awesome!!! I love them!!
Today, there was finally a forum post, that I felt I could contribute to. It was about Traildash 2 unit
I gave my honest experience, my opinions, but in the end, the locals on this site, basically tried to make an ass of my opinions!!!
I was told to orgasm in my tank, called a retard......All by frequent people to this site, including the administrator Mr ďOverlander JKĒ
Thats BS
I was also called an internet retard, but my posts were being edited by Mr ďOverlsnder JKĒ
I am just a Jeep 4x4 enthusiast and come to this site for happiness, not conflict.
I am 55 years old and have quite a lot of 4x4 experience, not just big rocks, but Mud, water, deep snow and sand!! I do not need to come to a website for my passion and be called a liar, retard......etc
I am absolutely not an over sensitive guy, but even the Wayalife administrator is a Jerk. Mr ďOverlander JKĒ has no class!!!
I hope this post is allowed on Your site!!! It is a true Jeepers, true feeling!!!
I will never try to contribute to this site ever again!í I do not think that is what makes this site healthy, but the site is being ďdominatedĒ by several
People....know other 4x4 enthusiast sites?? probably best in NE USA, Pennsylvania area, please let me know.... s_hennel@yahoo.com

Is having an orgasm in a fuel tank a reality? Are there any upsides to this type of fuel additive I should be aware of? Is this just a regional thing that's mostly kept a secret? Or is it more fake news by the liberal left? I'm so confused...

I'm a 50 year old newbie. I've learned a lot from this site. For instance:
1) When you share photos of your wife's cleavage, you're going to get a certain type of comment.
2) If you say something stupid, you're going to get called out.
3) If you ask an honest question, you're more than likely going to get the best advice. But, if you then question that sound advice, you're going up in flames.
4) If you live in Utah, and take everything you've learned from this site and go out Jeeping, you lose friends very quickly when you tell them all how stupid they are for worshipping the Teraflex God.
5) When in doubt, stop responding. Read and learn. More stupid comments don't make your previous 10 stupid comments sound any better.
6) Watch the videos, read the tech forums. Years worth of experience is at your finger tips.
7) If one of the veterans of this site gives advice, you can be damn sure they can back it up from personal experience.
8) That's enough, it's 5pm somewhere. Cheers.

This situation was unfortunate. We all looked askance at his comments based on our own perspective.

With 33s, mostly flat roads, and spending a lot of time in 70MPH zones, my aggregate mileage is not 20. More like 15íish on a good day.

If I truck along at 50, Iíll see 19, brushing 20 sometimes on a country road. Thatís still not an aggregate tank mileage though.

It would have been useful if the OP had shared: On China National Highways (which are not expressways), a common speed limit is 80 km/h (50 mph). In some localities, speed limits may drop to 40 km/h (25 mph).

If he spends his days on CNH then I could buy very high teens, though 20 is still hard to imagine given a need to swallow during acceleration. I donít live in that range so I have no frame of reference.

Good chance he wasnít full of BS. Just we all (me too) made assumptions. Shame the OP didnít think about any of this.

Who knows. Couldíve had a better outcome.

Same here. I use the flashpaq and have tried each setting. I didn't notice any change in mpg but the shift points did seem different on the 91 setting which is currently my favorite setting. I even upgraded to a CAI and new muffler system but I still didn't notice any change. I still would do it again but not for mpg gains. I get on average 14-15 mpg with 35s and I do alot of city driving below 60. I'm on fumes at 280 miles.

I just returned home from a 4hr trip... stock 17 JKUR Auto with 31Ē BFG muds and 4.10ís... I read this post at 4:00am when I pulled away from the Dunes and reset my mpg... with a few minor hill climbs and running at speeds between 60 - 80mph ... I pulled in my driveway with a reading of 17.6... Once I start city driving, that will drop close to 15.

Sure enough. I just reread it. Obviously missed it this morning. Thx.

I know I've never seen 20 @ 70. I note he's removed the air dam (more drag) plus the tires. 20's a dream, unfortunately.

Unless it's a long downhill, wind behind my back, both directions.

I got 27 mpg last April when driving to Reno from Portland. Did I forget to mention the 70 mph sustained wind. One point I think I actually took my foot of the gas. Coming back I had it floored and felt lucky to get 9 mpg. That was with 33s and 3.73 and a manual transmission. Now with 35s best I've seen was 17, all freeway.

Immediately after I put the 3” lift with 35s on the ‘14 Sahara with 3.21 gears, I reset the monitor and drove 1.5 hours to my parents for the weekend. The best I could get out of it at an avg of 60-65mph was 17.8mpg. In my normal day-to-day driving that dipped to below 16mpg and in my current Rubicon (3” lift, same 35s) the best I can do is about 15.5 at around the same hwy speeds. I idle so much at work my actual avg is below 14.

What gearing does it have? Iíve never seen anything better than 17mpg. Ever.

I donít remember. I think 3.73.

This is average after almost 700 miles with 100+ off-road and probably an 80 mph average speed on road. Still driving home. Iíll post the average when I get there.

So rescue had to come to the house. I advise NOT attempting the special additive to the tank unless you check size first......Iím scarred for life!!!

I can get 20+ on the gfís stock 4 door. But I donít usually go 65. (Currently traveling 85 lol)

When my 12' JKUR 6 speed was stock I could get 20+. As soon as I removed the air dam it dropped to 18. As soon as I added 35's it dropped to the magic number of 14-16. Last year I was averaging 15-16 on my trip to Moab (calculated via fuel buddy app). I was really surprised by this..haha.

I also call bullshit. I have 33's and get 18 at the very best on the highway doing 70-75mph.

I'd have to go look up the thread, but I'm pretty sure I got 18mpg running 315 duratracs...now I'm lucky to be north of 11mpg.

This was going 65-70 the last hour and a half of the trip. Trip mileage is 84 miles less than actual because I forgot to start that.

Nice. You'd have to flat tow me to get that. I think I averaged 15 on JKX this year. But someone likes to cruise 80 all the way too, at 15 psi whole trip lol.

My computer MPG average has gone up to 13 highway and 11 on the street from 10/8 since the gear job. Went from 4.10 to 5.13 on 35s.

I'm going to 37s, but with the 35s performance is actually amazing... About 2400RPM at 70MPH on the highway and I finally get to use overdrive again and the thing crawls like a billy goat in 4lo. 👍

Wow. 255 miles before the light comes on. Wish I had a 13 gallon tank. Then I could fill up twice a week instead of once.

I am dropping about 15 around town and something like 17 hwy. I really need to re-gear this thing.

Average 12mpg with my 07 JKU, mix city/highway.

It could go to 18mpg when stock but after lift, 35in tires, front bumper, winch, racks, etc. I can barely get to 15mpg highway only.
