It's CA they're entitle to drive in what ever lane they want at what ever speed they want..haha. I hate that drive that's why I've elected to fly the last several times I've had to go to Sac. If I have to drive I prefer the 99.

Yea but fuck them! lol. I think it should be legal to pit maneuver people on the freeway. But agreed, took 99 on the recent Dusy run and it was way better. But my wife is a Disney freak so we’re Anaheim bound quite often. We’re looking at a new Explorer with the adaptive cruise control which will make it a little more tolerable.

I always just thought bump drafting should be legal in situations like that. Just push them up to the speed you're going..haha. I've driven one of those, that is a cool feature. Set your speed and following distance and just steer.

We flew home to visit family in Idaho recently and got one as a rental. The adaptive cruise kicks in from about 200-250 ft. I thought it was cool at first until all the other passing traffic used the gap it created to pull in front of me and then the car adjusts the gap. Next thing you know I'm doing 55 on the freeway when I set the cruise at 70. WTF??

It does work though, if you change lanes it automatically speeds back up if the lane is clear. I think it would be nice on a long road trip but daily driving isn't a great application.

The explorer I drove allowed you to adjust how close you were to the vehicle in front of you. Not sure what the closest distance is though. I do use my cruise control on my vehicles on a daily basis, even around town.

The sales guy at Ford explained it to us this way as well in the Explorer. Said you could set the following distance.

To be honest I’m not a big fan of ours. I love the atmosphere and restaurant but not the food haha. It taste like cafeteria food to me. I just think they need more time to perfect the meals. My wife has been to the one in Tennessee a few time and says the food is amazing.

When someone sends an e-mail telling the staff there is pizza in the break room only to be followed by a second e-mail saying "My apologies, I did not mean for that to go out to the whole district". Thats fucking with people's emotions..haha.
