Thanks a million!! I really appreciate your help.

If you can find it in writing somewhere that would help. They sent me a $500 dollar coupon and a brochure. Some people were even getting a rear cargo slush mat. Mine just came with the regular one. But I do know the Rubicon X used to, or supposed to come with this recovery kit.

Yes, a 2014 Rubicon X. I just wasn't sure if they were still giving them out with the new ones. Wouldn't hurt to ask them I suppose.

I remember that incentive program. It was a promotion Jeep was doing to push vehicles. You can always negotiate, but I'm sure you can get more off your car than this kit would cost you aftermarket.

Hey guys just wanted to provide an update,.................

I took delivery of my 2015 Hard Rock over the weekend. The Mopar Tow Kit DID COME WITH IT! However my salesman, the sales manager, and the dealership manager had no clue what I was talking about. I followed the advice of OLRAM30 (thanks again) and was able to track it down in the parts department under the VIN number. So make sure you do not leave without it.

One more thing, a quick warning............

I park my Jeep on a 25/30 degree slanted driveway with the nose pointing downhill. So after about 30 hours of owning the Jeep, I now owned a Jeep that leaked. If you guys buy a freedom hard top, check it out. Mine went back 48 hours after I bought it, and this is the second JK that I've had this issue with. Only God knows how long it will take to fix it. Safe to say I'm pissed.

Good luck,................

Honestly they all leak and always will. That's what you get when you own a vehicle that can remove everything (tops, doors, fold down window), your never going to have a perfect fit.

oh good! if you hadn't said anything, they would have kept it and sold it separate. it's a shame they do this. Glad you got your kit that should come with the vehicle!:thumb:

X2 On this. One preventative measure is to lube up your seals with silicone. It is not 100% but it helps a lot with leaks. I bought a small tube of it from Lowes for 7 bucks. :yup:

I can honestly say that, after owning my '09 for three years, it never leaked a drop. I took the top and doors off all the time too.
