Hello from undisclosed location everyone!

I'm about to head home from deployment and starting to get my wish list ready for my JK. I'm going to be using a 2.5" RC lift and 33's. Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of this exact setup? Looking at getting T/A KO2 or Grabbers. Its my one and only vehicle and I don't have a lot of chances to get out and off the road but I would like a little more capable and aggressive looking Jeep for when I do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can I make a suggestion and say to just get some 35's instead of 33's. You will be wishing you had them

I'm still kicking that idea around. I just need to find a way to justify it to myself. My biggest concern is the gearing/gas consumption. Is it a noticeable difference?

Stay away from rough country and get some reputable tires. BFGoodrich, nitto, or toyo. Just my personal opinion. Buy things once. Get a good brand

If your thinking about a rough country lift. Stay away from that company you will hate the way it drives. Rock krawler has a nice lift you will be more than happy with and it is pretty good priced.

X2 with everyone's recommendation on getting 35s with that 2.5" lift. If you choose to run 33s then look into a 1.5" / leveling kit instead. It will look better aesthetically....Here's some pics for comparison. I am running a 2.5" RK lift....

Honestly, mine didn't seem to be too bad. I was getting 18MPG highway with my sport on 35's, now I am getting 18 MPG highway with my stock Rubicon.

Your pictures sealed the deal. Just changed the order to 35" KO2's. Already ordered the lift kit so we will see what its like when I get back sometime at the first of the year. I think the next things will be front and rear bumpers down the road.

Good call. I initially went with 33's but quickly made the jump to 35's. My cost for 35's was actually less than the 33's were, go figure.

Currently deployed as well. My jeep I have a 2inch lift running 33's but I went with mickey Thompson Baja mtz radial tires. I bet your stoked to be going home soon, I myself cannot wait for that day.

Don't forget to look at tire carrier the factory tire carrier is only good for about 80lbs. The tailgate welds are known for breaking. Google it u will see tons of photos. You can run a 35 on it but I wouldn't recommend doing it for long if u do make sure u extended the bumpstops and that is tight. I notice that my tailgate isn't as sturdy as factory with a 33 tire that weigh in with rim around 90 lbs.

^This!

This comparison of 33 to 35s on a 2.5" lift continues to be the best photo out there to show the difference.
