if ya want i'll pass you the link to the vid but I forsee no trouble for you with your setup , I think a stock rig could do it without any trouble so long as they stayed the easier line coming down ... and the top view is well worth the run out for sure View attachment 226148
I can show ya a bunch of shots I took but its like the Grand Canyon ya can look at pics all day long but till your there and seeing it for yourself , night and day difference ..

Man that's beautiful. This trip can't get here soon enough.

I was just thinking about what my rig looked like a year ago, what it looks like today, and what it will look like by then.

They have not been determined yet. The original post will be updated when that time comes.

Thanks. I plan to have 35's and a cb but a winch is doubtful and definately no sport cage. I have a Rubi so lockers are locked and loaded ha.

Damn my best friend

My best friend from HS is getting married on Sept 29th, 2017. Completely fucks this trip all kind of sideways...of course I love my friend and I will be there for him no doubt...just wondering if I can SOMEHOW work out the CO part first and make it back in time to fly back to Philly for the wedding...:crazyeyes:

I discussed this trip with my wife again this morning when talking about our 2017 Vacation. Looks like it's this, or the Bahamas.

OK time to brainstorm here. Have there been any malaria outbreaks or anything in the Bahamas lately? Oil spills? Increased crime rate?

Another angle: the Bahamas aren't going anywhere. This however, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. To get these many Jeeps, with guys you know (kind of...) all together for a trip like this? Not happening again soon (that we know of)

Also, find some pics of the San Juans and periodically send them to her. Mountains are stunning.

Lastly, you've got all this money and time in Steel. Was it for nothing? Now you're going to let him sit in the garage while you pay thousands on a Bahamas vacation? That's not who the Palmers are as a family! You're go getters! You start with no plans and end up on 35s within a year! You're taking that beast, climbing some freaking mountains, and sleeping under the stars baby!!

I won't be able to make it now that my multi billion dollar company is going under. So unless I find another great paying job for my obsession I can't make it :( .

Do we have dates nailed down for this yet? I skimmed and didn't see a for sure 100% yet. If not, we need to nail this down sooner rather than later as Ouray and Telluride fill up fast for the summer and fall.
