I do not own one, nor have I seen one in person yet, but this is also an interesting trailer:

I'm thinking something like this in a couple years when my twin boys (8 months) are ready for some mountain weekends!

nice but for the price i'm gonna pass , for that I can pick up a casita or something else along those lines that is a full sized, jut not able to everywhere the jeep does which is fine when you consider that my plan is to fully live out of what ever I wind up getting and while I would like some abilities for off road I don't need it to go everywhere the jeep can ...................

I think I may go with one of these instead of building.

now this is a nice little camper and priced in the affordable range for what it is for sure .........

Nothing is bear proof. If you've got food and they want it? It's theirs. I've seen million dollar motor coaches destroyed by bears. Are you leaning more towards keeping honest people from stealing your stuff?

this is so true .........

Actually, no. For some reason I had 22k in mind.
I guess when you pile on all the options it adds up quickly.

Saw another one online today closer to home. Price is better. It's much larger and still very light.

Have seen these , like them honestly , think a skylight on the front or even a window would look daym good and let in a ton of natural light

I definitely know that. I put an extra layer of protection outside by letting the kids tent camp outside the trailer. Their screams would give me enough time to ready the real bear deterrent.

This is my second one. I love the Outback edition. The only thing I don't care for is the 29" tires. I want to match the jeep eventually.

am curious what do you think the biggest is that will fit it ? ............... I admit I stumbled on the tab trailers by accident not to long ago when I began looking at all the various options for em and I do like the tab trailers in general , I figure anything made by the Amish is bound to hold up a bit better than most , I like the size overall , and since we are somewhat limited in weight these fit that bill nicely while still being a fully equipped set up if you option it out that way .. ... and for the outback I liked it has more ground clearance seems like it is built a bit tougher than the regular tab as well ..

there is a few others I like as well but for the most part they all range up pretty close to out overall weight limit , while these along with a few others that are pretty new on the market ( besides pop ups ) leave a bit of room to spare when fully loaded before getting to the limit ........
also wondering how your doing on mileage when towing ...

I ended up with a 1963 aristocratic. I rolled the axel, gave it about 5" of lift. 10 gal gravity water tank, I also carry water to refill the tank. It has 110 plug in, but I have a full solar power system in it as well. Fuel mileage goes to shit. Here is a shot of it next to loon lake View attachment 268998

Edit: this shot is before I rolled the axel, for the lift. I bottomed it out getting out of this spot. [emoji23]

Your gears really should match your tire size, assuming from your avatar pic you've upgraded from stock? There really isn't so much of a "towing gear". Having said that, I ordered mine from the factory with the towing package and it came with 3:73 gears.

I have 315/70R17, with 4.88 gears on a 2014 Rubicon. After pulling the R-Pod 178, from Mississippi to California, I can tell you, gears are a must for towing. The R-Pod, itself, weighs about 2600 lbs. If I had geared to 4.56, I would have hated towing. Sometimes I wished I had 5.13.

I will take a photo and post it of the space. As is I am guessing a 30 inch. It can be lifted. The factory is good about doing mods.
