Unfortunately, yes. It's in the wrong location for the room and the chimney has seen better days. We're gonna install a new one in a different spot... Probably gas.

This is our first major kitchen remodel I hope I don't fuck it up project. We bought this old 1930s house and there was absolutely nothing on this wall. So we bought pre-built pantry and base cabinets and then we made the refrigerators around which we got to finish and a little section there for trash and recyclables

Yeah the place had the shiplap on the walls and ceiling, but the addition it was not
We found some reclaimed goods a few hours away. A tad pricey, but it matched up with the old.
