Do they not sell factory metal ones anymore or did you just prefer the plastic one?

Oh yeah, they still sell steel tanks and they’re actually a lot cheaper. I just prefer plastic being that they’re more modern, more durable and won’t rust.

Figured as much. Probably what I would get too. Last thing you need after all that work is a rusty gas tank and take things out.

Yup, I would have replaced Jane's tank too but the steel tank she has is brand new.

That’s good to know there are modern options out there to help further extend the life of some old iron.

    Looks Beautiful,
I've been thinking of finding one of the commandos and going more like the one EVO did a few years back. Comando tub on a JKU frame, but was going to go with an older 4BT Diesel with no electronics, everything analog, full roll caged with the suspensions like the EVO one (probably not 40's though, 37-38's probably)..

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
