That coast line is beautiful!

I have some more to post along with this sweet ass lake.

You need to scope out the sand dunes on the coast...I'd like to run them some day...

I was looking at North Bend. Apparently, you can drive on those for several miles. Someone also told me about the dunes in Florence. You can see them on other side of the bridge I posted.

Looks like a great state! Love seeing from others what it's like throughout the various states instead of just what is seen from the media.

So much to see and do Jerry. I was reminded of how life is short. My step father that raised me died of a massive heart attack a day after Veteran's day. He was 66. Loved and miss him. Way too young. One of the reasons we decided to just move, travel, explore more. Life is short guys.

Life is short...sometimes unexpectedly so...makes no sense not to live it to its fullest...

Someone mentioned to me Winchester the other day. They said you can drive on the beaches. Have to check it out!

There is really no beach to drive on at Winchester. You can drive on the dunes. Lots of hills.

Florence and Coos Bay both have beaches you can drive on if I remember correctly.

Seriously...check out the dunes, regulations, camping situation or nearby places to spend the night and eat...then start a dunes trip thread...I would be totally in for that

Will do. When we went to Lincoln City to the north I spotted a few vehicles on the beach. Also fort Stevens where the Peter Iredale is.

Cool country! If you haven’t watch the documentary called “Wild Wild Country” I’d recommend it. It all happened in Oregon in 1981-1985.
