This is what gets trails closed. Lazy, irresponsible recreators. Even before working for a "land management agency" I was always taught to be responsible. Its just common sense. Why ruin it for everyone else.

To a point. Irresponsible people add to the case for sure. But for the most part trails are closed due to overzealous bureaucrats who would take any excuse to take our freedoms away.

Looks like a super fun trail!! But I gotta say, those trees are HUGE!!! maybe a dumb question but how did they tip over like that? Not used to seeing massive trees just Fallen over like that in south Texas lol

Great trail!

Just camped at Barrett Lake and made the jeep trail with my JKU. Great challenging trail. I recommend it if you are looking for a great campsite and a difficult trail.

Right on. Still hoping to make it up there this year. Did you go on a weekend? Was it busy at the lake?
