I dunno man. We drove through Joplin, Missouri right after their big twister and holy hell, it looked like a nuclear bomb tore through it. I can't imagine having to deal with that seasonally.

Need to make this a trip for sure! Right now wouldn't be so good anyway being that the passes would still have impassible drifts and the valley floor can get real muddy... as in, the kind of dry lake clay that nobody gets through regardless of tire or tread :icon_crazy:

Midwestern tornadoes: FUCK THAT! That shits like total devastion.
Eastern tornadoes like we occasionally get in Pa? Eh, they're pretty rare & are usually confined to hitting trailer parks. I can deal with that threat

Edit: Not that I think it's ok to hit trailer parks :blush:

When I was a teen in MA we thought it would be cool to go to a barren hilltop and lock arms to ride out a rare hurricane...of course we were drunk...it’s amazing teenagers actually survive adolescence
