What happens if you are up high and dont jave a drag link flip or dropped pitman arm? They do the same thing right? I knowni saw that the dropped pitman arm is not recommended.

They don't do the same thing. The drag link flip also relocates the track bar, making a noticeable improvement in handling. It also needs to be relocated to keep the drag link and track bar on the same arc, or close to it. As an added benefit you can mount your steering stabilizer to the track bar mount, moving it up out of the way of rocks.
