While wade fishing at the beach this morning, caught a couple small omilu (bluefin trevally)...kept 6 ft away to prevent transmission to the aqua world...

This is a juvenile kagami (African pompano)...when young, they have these long threads coming from the rays of their dorsal and ventral fins...they are quite beautiful. As they get older, they lose these threads...I’ve caught and speared them up to twenty lbs, and I’ve seen th here in the thirty lb range...kagami means mirror in Japanese
