I had heard rumors that they were looking at old EZ-GO electric motors for a "greener" reputation, those being more reliable then a Prius motor ... :cheesy:

This is everyone's dream man. Glad you two get to do this upgrade.
Moby is already one sick rig. This is just going to make it a cut above.

Believe me, the 1.5L EFI was a real close second.

That is awesome!

Love the LS route - smog legal too right?

Yes, it is. :yup:

As long as Moby doesn't become a trailer queen. Just say'n.

Trust me, that would never happen.

Well, I was also thinking about all the other things you are changing out to like the transmission and transfer case. I know the Atlas adds a few pounds.

The transmission is definitely heavier and while the 2-speed Atlas is heavier as well, I don't think it'll be enough to matter. If it is, we'll address it at that time.

Awesome. Curious how many mile on Moby now? Seams like you drive it everywhere. I hear nothing but good things about the mo tech LS swaps. If my jeep wasn't brand new this would be the swap for me. Done the HEMI thing in my TJ already. But the underlying star is the Chevy transmission.

Just out of curiosity, how does the rest of the Jeep (specifically the electronics) play with the new engine? Will you constantly drive around with the entire panel of idiot lights lit up?
