You could also highline the factory fenders to save some money if you like the factory fender look.

Rubbed too close to a couple trees this weekend and the MetalCloaks' performed great, helping me slide past with no body damage. I did take it slow, tho...

I'm running 33x12.50 on 15x8 wheels with -30 offset. I didn't want to spend a ton on highline fenders so I cut up my factory ones.

I would look at a true high rise fender that requires a hood trimming. You will get 2-3 more inches of tire clearance over MC.

To the OP, look into fishbone fenders as an option if you decide to go aftermarket and not keep stock once.

I'd throw the 3" lift on the TJ with 33s and leave the fenders stock until you decide to do something else with tire size.
