There are a lot of options. If you are staying on the north side of the lake, take 89 North out of Truckee to Henessey Pass Road there are a ton of lakes up in that area. The trails are mostly fire roads (nothing hard) but the lakes are beautiful.
I'm not as familiar with the south side of the lake but I believe there are plenty of trails. I think there was another thread recently with some of the south side trails.
