Mark my words, if this doesn’t stop soon it will be the end of Roger Goodell’s tenure as NFL Commissioner. These owners are starting to loose money and won’t put up with that long. The NFL is business first and foremost. When the pocketbook starts hurting is when it will change. That’s is, the consumer voicing our opinions collectively. That is Capitalism at work. What a beautiful thing! This is the greatest country to ever be placed on this earth!

Exactly. Just because I do the job better than anyone else doesn't mean I can be a dick and make the "Company" I work for look bad. It costs business. I understand the protest (disagree with it, but that's a whole other thread) and understand free speech, which this was and they have the right. Without this country you couldn't pull that shit. Take North Korea, you wouldn't be fired you'd be fired at and shot on the spot. So what you don't like Trump, take it off the field and do not include out flag or National Anthem. That's like having an issue with your ex but slapping her grandparents. How many of these players will attend Black Lives Matter rally, probably not many. There is no other way to take this type of "protest" than as disrespect to our flag and our country. I've never like the NFL but I'm really gone now. Just like Starbucks, won't drink it because I do not agree with what they stand for. Sure it won't make a huge difference but i'm not going to support what I do not stand for.
